Circle Line Pub Crawl

{summary}

London. Drinking. Do they really go hand in hand. Well if you are a larger swilling Aussie maybe not. Then again, beer is beer.

Imagine again a variation of the pub crawl. In a London sized scale. Think the Circle Line 27 stops, having a drink at the nearest boozer with one at the first station making it 28 standard drinks. Then do it in 12 hours. Try not to puke on the tube is probably the biggest challenge.

This is reality though. Its the Circle Line Pub Crawl.

Now for those a little more sensible, three drinkers took on an even greater challenge and spread it over five years.

They drank at the nearest watering hole to every stop on the London underground. This is a feat given there are 275 stations on the network.

For the finale they slotted in 16 stations.

Unbelieveably one was quoted as saying “I don’t know what we’re going to do now, it’s going to leave a big hole in our lives.”

Anyone up for the challenge on QR network?

Some stations it might be quite a hike. Milton though would be best planned to coincide with a brewery tour!

I did a London circly pub crawl in Feb this year - it was actually Waitangi Day (NZL Day). I just visited Brisbane for the first time this w/e as well - and I think a Brisbane one would be a great idea =)
