Cyclones
![]() Brisbane took time out Sunday to thank the emergency services and volunteers who assisted with support for the victims of Cyclone Larry in Innisfail in March this year. Located in Roma Street Parklands, it was a real family event with face painting, jumping castles keeping everyone entertained. Following speeches, a band followed up while a complimentary barbecue was enjoyed. A forecast of light showers appeared to have kept some people away, but they missed experiencing the parklands on what turned out to be a fantastic spring day. The parklands are looking fantastic despite the drought and are currently showing off the seasonal colours. Well worth a trip. [email this story] Posted by RW on 09/18 at 04:36 AM
